ASCP has a series of advisory focus groups representing different industry sectors. These groups are a way for members to network and share ideas virtually and in person at ASCP national meetings. All focus groups will meet during the 2018 ASCP Forum on Thursday, May 17 from 9:00am-12:00pm. In order to participate, you must pre-register by selecting the focus group you wish to attend during Forum registration. If you need to add/change your selection after registration, please contact ASCP.
This group (formerly titled "Private Practice Network/PPN") is established to enable the mutual sharing of experience and expertise among senior care pharmacists in the home and community-based settings. The goals of this group are to:
This Focus Group is open to ASCP member pharmacists who have senior-focused clinical practices based outside of the nursing home setting.
This is a group of consultant pharmacists who own and operate an independent LTC clinical and consultant practice. These practitioners contract directly with nursing home operators to do monthly drug regimen reviews and in many cases medication reviews at time of admission and discharge to home.
This program is specifically for pharmacist executives employed by regional or national skilled nursing and assisted living providers. This is a must attend for pharmacists responsible for pharmacy services contracting and medication services on behalf of LTPAC operators.
This is a group of pharmacy managers, owners and executives. It’s a great networking opportunity for pharmacy executives to discuss operational challenges and opportunities, for example, working with EHR companies.
